I am a Carmel Valley resident of over 16 years, who sent both of my sons through the Del Mar Union School District. I am a wife to an amazing and supportive husband of 17 years. After 15 years as a business professional, I left my IT career to take care of my youngest, who is severely autistic and non-verbal. After difficult experiences with multiple school boards, I decided to run for the Del Mar Union School Board in order to help fix transparency and poor decision-making in our local district.
I currently serve on the Office of Administrative Hearings Special Education Advisory Committee.

Rita Fernandez-Loof - San Bernardino Board of Education, Board Member Area B
